Welcome to NMACTE

The New Mexico Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (NMACTE) brings together deans, directors, and educational leaders from across the state to improve and further develop inclusive educational outcomes for New Mexico’s students and teachers. We work collaboratively to strengthen educator preparation, share policy and practice, and advocate for culturally and linguistically responsive teaching across all communities.

Also known as the Deans and Directors Group, we serve as the collective voice for educator preparation programs (EPPs) in New Mexico.
